HOME OFFICE FEES 2020/21

 IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY CHARGES

This relates to the most recent Home Office Fees 2020/21, which go into effect on January 31, 2021, for Immigration and Nationality Charges.

 After January 31, 2021, the application fees for indefinite leave to remain (ILR), leave to remain, British Citizenship, Naturalisation, Work, Student, Sponsorship, and Premium (Priority) Visa Service will remain the same.

The ILR same-day charge for indefinite leave to remain applications in 2020/21 will likewise continue at £3,189.

Please keep in mind that the Home Office revises Nationality and Immigration charges once a year. In fact, the fees are imposed by sections 68 and 69 of the Immigration Act of 2014.

In addition, the UKVI provides various user-pay premium services for which applicants must pay additional fees.

The fees are determined by the type of application and service. As a result, Home Office fees for leave to remain applications for students can be as little as £475 in some cases.

The Home Office Immigration and Nationality Charges, on the other hand, can be as much as £2,389 for indefinite permission to remain (ILR) application.

FEES FOR INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN (ILR) IN 2020/21

The Home Office's indefinite leave to remain (ILR) application fees will not be increased beginning January 31, 2021.

As a result, the ILR fees will stay at £2,389 per year. Please keep in mind that the ILR fees apply to all forms of indefinite leave to remain applications.

For example, the indefinite leave to remain (ILR) fees for PBS Tier 1 investors, Tier 1 entrepreneurs, and Settlement through the Family Route are all the same, at £2,389 per application.

FEES FOR SAME-DAY INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN (ILR) IN 2020/21

The Household Office The rate for same-day (24-hour) processing of Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or No Time Limit (NTL) applications is £3,189/-, which includes application costs of £2,389/- plus the cost of super-priority visa service of £800.

FEES FOR HOME OFFICE LEAVE TO CONTINUE IN 2020/21

The fees for leave to remain will not change after January 31, 2021. As a result, the application fee for leave to remain will continue at £1,033.

 Furthermore, the prices for leave to remain with priority (5-day) and same-day super-priority service are £1,533 and £1,833/-, respectively.

Please keep in mind that the £1,033 leave to remain application fee does not apply to all forms of switching and extension applications.

The leave to remain fees for Tier 1 Investor and Entrepreneur, for example, are £1,623 and £1,277, respectively. The permission to remain fees for a spouse visa application, on the other hand, are £1,033.

EXTRAORDINARY SECURITY

A foreign national in the UK must take all required efforts to leave if practicable, or apply to regularise their stay.

 If a person wishes to leave the UK but is unable to do so because to Covid-19, and their leave to remain expires between 1 January 2021 and 28 February 2021, they can apply for additional time to stay, a process known as 'exceptional assurance.'

 Despite the fact that there is no Home Office cost for the extraordinary assurance, i.e. leave to remain (extension), due to coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions, a person must attach proof to show: why they are unable to leave the UK?
